I could see Robotino is using Camera as one of the sensing devices. Is Localization based on Camera inputs also?

Robotino's camera is currently not used by ROS. Instead Robotino is equipped with a Hokuyo laser rangefinder. So the answer is: "Yes, localisation is working without vision sensors. The rangefinder does the job."
