Hello,

It seems that diamondback OpenCV packages have broken camera capture. We have observed the problem on Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10 and 11.04. A minimal test case is attached to this email.

This issue is being discussed on answers.ros.org, but it seems that the packagers have not taken action yet to fix the problem:

This seems a major bug to me, is there a plan to fix it in the short term?
