Subject: Re: [ros-users] Please create topics for this mailinglist
I could very well be in the minority, but I really don't think the traffic on this list is high at all.
And I like seeing the breadth of things that come through that show the ROS community is thriving.

We could use Nabble (or alternatives) for running the mailinglist as a forum, too.
Those who wants to have "reduced noise" use the nabble-forum-interface and cancel their subscription to the mailinglist.

i wonder if this list is getting so big and active that it might be better to switch to a forum?
I would be more than happy to setup a ros forum. That way a lot of the noise can be reduced.
We can still keep the mailinglist as the underlying protocol so those who prefer mail can comunicate throught it.
Thoughts?
Best

Hi folks,
is it possible to create topics for the the ros-users mailing list? I am talking about topics configured in mailman. I would like to ignore certain topics, e.g., [jobs] or [news].
+1
Even without using automatic filters this would help when going through the piled up mails.
