Hi Everyone, I'm trying to write a patch for ROS so that Mandriva 2010 can be supported (my advisor is French, and insists on the distro!). I thought I had everything figured out and submitted a https://code.ros.org/trac/ros/ticket/2783 ticket and a patch but quickly realized that there is no liblog4cxx in Mandriva's repos. I can easily compile and install liblog4cxx by hand, but I'm not sure of the best way to let rosdep know I have done so. I can easily hack around this problem by making liblog4cxx map to libc or something in rosdep.yaml, but I'm hoping someone has a more elegant solution? Thanks!
