Thanks Brian and Tully, The change in /ros/rosdep.yaml did the trick. I replaced following in libtool section debian: libtool libltdl3-dev with debian: libtool libltdl-dev On compilation of pr2_2dnav, no dependency unresolved reported. I am trying to do some useful stuff using Cturtle version on Debian Squeeze release which I updated with June 28,2010 make iso files. About output of commands, following is console copy-paste text: nitin@tangri:~/MS/downloads/robotics/ros/ros-pkg$ `dpkg-query libltdl3-dev` dpkg-query: need an action option Use --help for help about querying packages. nitin@tangri:~/MS/downloads/robotics/ros/ros-pkg$ `dpkg-query -l libltdl3-dev` bash: Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold: No such file or directory nitin@tangri:~/MS/downloads/robotics/ros/ros-pkg$ dpkg-query -W -f='${Package} ${Status}\n' This list every single package installed on my machine, which is a very long list. Do you really want me to post this?? If yes, I will do that :) regards nitin -- View this message in context: http://ros-users.122217.n3.nabble.com/libltdl3-dev-dependency-unresolved-despite-having-libltdl-dev-installed-tp952746p952822.html Sent from the ROS-Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
