A co-worker gave it to me and he is working with Ubuntu Linux 8.04 Hardy. I am using his code to implement into my robot, obviously with a few alterations here and there. It would make sense to me that his version of code wouldn't be compatible with mine; he had started with ROS a long time ago so the functionality would have some major changes.
