Ah. That makes it clearer (sorry if I was being dense). Couple of things to try:

1) decodebin without qtdemux (you've probably already tried this)
2) Is the framerate problem quicktime specific (e.g. if you re-encode
into another container format, does the problem persist)?

Also, can you provide a short (or not so short) sample mov?
