Ah. I see. Thanks for the infos. The isValid methods of Publisher and Subscriber seem to call out to ros::ok already, so I guess we should just keep it in to not break backwards compatibility. Btw. I've just released client_rosjava-0.1.2. It contains the new wrappers for the ok methods and a couple of bug-fixed to the message generator.
