Eric-- Thanks for the reply. No, my amcl launch file is not actually empty, I think the tags prevented it from showing. I've attached the text file here: http://ros-users.122217.n3.nabble.com/file/n2117629/amcl_diff.launch amcl_diff.launch . I have tried running with only one laser, and the results are similar. I will try reducing the publish_frequency to 0 for both costmaps and see what happens.
