The stack pages are currently auto-generated based on the svn repository listed in the release files. Since we sometimes release from a branch, the link for the branch gets into the stack page until the release file is updated again. So yes, it is a documentation/link error. I have changed the rules for where to release from back to trunk so the link should get fixed when the wiki updates.
