There's been a patch hanging around to add support for using XCode to
build ROS packages: https://code.ros.org/trac/ros/ticket/2945.  I'm
not an XCode user, so I can't easily test it.  If you're an XCode
user, your feedback on the patch (does it work? does it do what you
want?) would be appreciated.  Please add any comments to the ticket.
