Hi Kadir, Next time you see this problem try running tf_moniter: rosrun tf tf_monitor It should help you debug delays between frames. Like Josh said, it's likely you'll find that the frames from a particular computer are delayed because that computers clock is running slow. -Stu On Sat, Feb 5, 2011 at 5:13 AM, kadir wrote: > > Hi again, > > Here are the publishers/subscribers of the /tf node: > > Type: tf/tfMessage > > Publishers: >  * /p2os (http://asilNetbook:42584/) >  * /robot_state_publisher (http://kfuKovan:34914/) > > Subscribers: >  * /rviz (http://kfuKovan:45393/) > > And, p2os have the following connections: >  * topic: /rosout >    * to: /rosout >    * direction: outbound >    * transport: TCPROS >  * topic: /battery_state >    * to: /p2os_dashboard_6064_1296910632860 >    * direction: outbound >    * transport: TCPROS >  * topic: /tf >    * to: /rviz >    * direction: outbound >    * transport: TCPROS >  * topic: /motor_state >    * to: /p2os_dashboard_6064_1296910632860 >    * direction: outbound >    * transport: TCPROS >  * topic: /cmd_vel >    * to: http://kfuLaptop:48205/ >    * direction: inbound >    * transport: TCPROS >  * topic: /cmd_motor_state >    * to: http://asilNetbook:57255/ >    * direction: inbound >    * transport: TCPROS > > Today, I have run the system several times and I didn't see any lagging or > jitter today :) I don't know why it happened last night. > > Thanks guys... > > -Kadir- > -- > View this message in context: http://ros-users.122217.n3.nabble.com/strange-lagging-behavior-in-rviz-in-the-links-connected-to-the-base-link-tp2426278p2430916.html > Sent from the ROS-Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > _______________________________________________ > ros-users mailing list > ros-users@code.ros.org > https://code.ros.org/mailman/listinfo/ros-users > -- Stuart Glaser sglaser -at- willowgarage -dot- com www.willowgarage.com
