I like the Alot slides a lot. We don't have a repository for hosting presentations. In the past, similar sorts of resources have gone into the Courses page: http://www.ros.org/wiki/Courses In theory, this would go well in the ROS "Overview", as would those great ROS tutorial videos at http://www.ros.org/wiki/roblab-whge-ros-pkg . Perhaps its time to organize a community project to reorganize the introductory materials? (I suggest this as I am about to go on vacation for a week) - Ken On Mon, Jul 18, 2011 at 10:12 AM, Jonathan Bohren wrote: > All, > I recently gave a ROS crash course for my lab at Johns Hopkins University, > and thought I'd share some of the slides I used. > https://jshare.johnshopkins.edu/jbohren1/public_html/ros_cc_1_intro.pdf > https://jshare.johnshopkins.edu/jbohren1/public_html/ros_cc_2_patterns.pdf > If anyone wants to build on these or extend them, I can give you the LaTeX > beamer and figure sources, but right now they're in a private svn. > Additionally, is there a good (public) repository for collecting > presentations such as these? > best, > -j > > -- > Jonathan Bohren > PhD Student > Mechanical Engineering Dept. > The Johns Hopkins University > (707) 520-4736 > > _______________________________________________ > ros-users mailing list > ros-users@code.ros.org > https://code.ros.org/mailman/listinfo/ros-users > >
