The primary freeze date is today. You can get the relevant frozen stacks by running: apt-get install ros-fuerte-desktop-full The freeze is very important due to the schedule slip. As a helpful reminder, odd-numbered minor versions, such as 1.7, are used to indicate unstable development versions. Please release with even-numbered minor versions, such as 1.8, to indicate that the stack development is now frozen. FYI: ros_comm is being held at a 1.7 unstable version until some remaining integrations issues with roslisp are fixed. Please make sure your release scripts are up-to-date: sudo pip install -U rosrelease Links: http://ros.org/wiki/fuerte/Migration http://ros.org/wiki/fuerte/Planning cheers, Ken
