I am interested in the possible evolution of ROS and heard part of the ROSCon discussion. Today, I see several Groovy planning Special Interest Groups: http://ros.org/wiki/groovy/Planning/msgIDL http://ros.org/wiki/groovy/Planning/nodeIDL http://ros.org/wiki/groovy/Planning/RosNG I would like to participate, but am somewhat confused how to contribute. I believe many others would also like to participate, so perhaps some preliminary discussion on ros-users would be useful. * Are these really Groovy release planning groups? Or, design discussions for ROS 2.0? * Is there a written design proposal for all this? Or, is that the goal of the groups? * Are these issues so clear that breaking the discussion into three separate groups makes sense? --  joq
