Just FYI: After the manual fix that was previously necessary (uninstalling the -dp-dev package and installing the -sp-dev package) I needed to manually switch back to -dp-dev after the fix was pulled to the apt-repo, in order to get back to where I was before. There was no package manager error or something, but I was sure if sticking with -sp-dev instead of -dp-dev would have lead to issues down the road.
