Thanks! We already have dependencies on the main gstreamer packages, and it looks like debian/ubuntu decided to break up the package hierarchy differently from Fedora. Since it sounds like these packages don't all have direct analogs on Fedora, I think I'll have to invent a rosdep key that depends on the right packages on each platform. -Austin On 03/15/2016 06:37 AM, Rich Mattes wrote: > Hi, > > The gobject introspection files for gstreamer[1] and > gstreamer-plugins-base[2] are included in the base packages, you > should be able to just use gstreamer and gstreamer-plugins-base as the > rosdeps. > > python-gi probably maps to the pygobject3[3] package in Fedora. > > Rich > > [1] https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/gstreamer/contents > [2] https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/gstreamer-plugins-base/contents > [3] https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/pygobject3 > > On Tue, Mar 15, 2016 at 12:09 AM, Tully Foote via ros-release > wrote: >> Austin, >> >> Thanks for the PR and requesting Fedora input. >> >> Everyone, >> >> Note that we're going to be making more of an effort to keep Debian and >> Fedora rosdep rules up to date.
