hi, I'm delighted to let you know about the result of some fantastic work done by Greg Brill and his colleagues to port ROS to Cygwin, making it usable on Windows: https://github.com/codenotes/ros_cygwin So far, they have most of Jade and Indigo working on 64-bit Windows (tested primarily on Windows 10), with source and binaries available: https://github.com/codenotes/ros_cygwin/releases If you're interested in running ROS on Windows, please give these binaries a try. Keep in mind that this project is very much a work in progress and not yet widely used. Please report issues to the tracker: https://github.com/codenotes/ros_cygwin/issues brian. _______________________________________________ ros-users mailing list ros-users@lists.ros.org http://lists.ros.org/mailman/listinfo/ros-users
