So one of the challenges with maintaining the `joystick_drivers` package is that to do it right, you need to make sure all the drivers actually work on all the release platforms. I think the `joystick_drivers` packages should be split up into separate repos and maintained independently. This would make it easier for all of the different drivers to stay up to date. I originally took over maintainership of it because the previous maintainer no longer had any time to maintain it. For a while now that's also been the case with me.
