The Intelligent Vehicles group at the TU Delft, The Netherlands, is seeking candidates for a PhD position with an interest in performing cutting edge research in an active and exciting research area (cf. self-driving cars by Google, Apple and the automotive industry). Prospective applicants should have a strong academic record with solid background in computer science or software development, and experience in CV and ML. Good programming skills are expected, preferably in C++ and MATLAB/Python. Knowledge of deep-learning frameworks (TensorFlow/Torch/Caffe) and OpenCV/CUDA is a plus. An affinity towards turning complex concepts into real-world practice (i.e. vehicle demonstrator) is desired, we use ROS for our main demonstration platform.
