@batman we have written a VLP16 driver for ROS2 which is easily extendable to other ring-shaped lidars. The driver is loosely based on https://github.com/ros-drivers/velodyne but also greatly improved in terms of: 1. Static memory 1. To work on data as soon as its available 1.
