Narasimhan, The tutorial that you followed shows you how to simulate a robot in stage, but does not actually run the navigation stack on the robot. We don't have a tutorial for running the navigation stack in simulation, though I'll probably be putting one together in the next couple of days. In the meantime, you can check out the move_base_stage package for examples of how to configure a robot to run the navigation stack in simulation. Hope this helps, Eitan On Fri, Jun 25, 2010 at 11:39 AM, Narasimhan wrote: > > i've followed this tutorial > http://www.ros.org/wiki/simulator_stage/Tutorials/SimulatingOneRobot . > i'm not able to set goals to the robot using rviz. how to set goals to the > robot? > -- > View this message in context: > http://ros-users.122217.n3.nabble.com/sending-goals-using-stage-tp922742p922742.html > Sent from the ROS-Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate > GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
