Hi Rosen, It looks like it tries to find gfortranbegin when generating some octave bindings: Scanning dependencies of target orcreate_octave make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/robotlab/ros/wg-ros-pkg-unreleased/stacks/openrave_planning/openrave/openrave_svn/build' make[3]: Entering directory `/home/robotlab/ros/wg-ros-pkg-unreleased/stacks/openrave_planning/openrave/openrave_svn/build' [ 89%] Generating orcreate.mex /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgfortranbegin There were new system dependencies for rosoct (octave3.0-headers package which bring the whole fortran compiler). I just tried removing gfortran package and OpenRAVE compiled just fine. I guess it just skips that orcreate.mex generation if it doesn't find the right dependencies.
