Hi, the problem is that ubuntu is intercepting the ps3 controller before ps3joy.py. You need to follow these instructions to get it working: http://www.ros.org/wiki/ps3joy/KarmicInstructions. Note that if you are using Lucid Lynx (10.04) then you can skip the part about updating pybluez, in my experience anyways, and so you would only need to disable interception of HID devices (step 2). Hope that helps, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ William Woodall Graduate Software Engineering Auburn University w@auburn.edu wjwwood@gmail.com 256-345-9938 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Fri, Jul 30, 2010 at 7:26 PM, Adam Leeper wrote: > Hi- > > I'm following this tutorial to get a ps3 sixaxis controller paired with my > computer. > http://www.ros.org/wiki/ps3joy/Tutorials/PairingJoystickAndBluetoothDongle > > On step 1.3, a window keeps popping up asking me to grant access to the > device: > > Grant access to '00001124-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb' > Device 'PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller' (60:38:0E:7B:5B:D9) wants access to the > service '00001124-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb'. > > Each time I click accept (with or without the "always grant access" check > box) it pauses for a few seconds, then the window pops up again. > > I am running the latest debs of cturtle on 10.04.
