Thanks for updating. which version of Debian are you using ? only the stable version (Squeeze) is tested and supported. Others may failed I surprised of some of your adds : _ Failed to find rosdep boost for package rosout on OS:debian version:squeeze ==> this has to be solved modifying the rosdep.yaml files concerned. In general it is because of the use of sid/squeeze tag instead of squeeze. I suggest you read this : http://www.ros.org/wiki/rosdep/Tutorials/Add%20new%20OS%20to%20rosdep.yamland try to edit the fault rosdep.yaml. Please send a full installation log if you want help in this _ ("ROS-only") builds fine. ==> this is due to the faulty rosdep.yaml _For the "Base Install" you additionally need package mercurial, otherwise you get ==> I am surprise you have this, I thougth it was only necessary in the Diamondback version. Does anyone know if it is the case ? If you have problems with Cturtle, I highly suggest you go with Diamondback that I have tested and for wich patches have already been send to correct the rosdep.yaml files 2011/2/27 Martin Weis > Dear Willy Lambert! > > Lambert wrote: > > I have a debian OS and I'd like to install ROS on it.
