I have two colleagues trying to install ROS Fuerte (ros-fuerte-desktop) on fresh installs of 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04 using the instructions found at http://www.ros.org/wiki/fuerte/Installation/Ubuntu Everything seems to go fine until the "sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-desktop" step. Essentially, the package isn't found. I browsed the apt repository located at http://packages.ros.org/ros/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/binary-amd64/ and found that there are no ros-fuerte-* packages listed in the Package file. All I see are ros-groovy-* packages. Is this by design? I thought Fuerte would be available for Precise? Are we doing something wrong? -- Dustin Gooding
