Thanks John for those updates.It worked finally!
One more noticeable issue, as I am using BoxTurtle, I don't find "reindex" is a valid command extension for a rosbag.
Below is the line mentioned in the Wiki page for that,

rosbag reindex <name of the bag that you downloaded / created in step 2>

I request you to check it.
