You should do it the other way around, 'rosdep install' and then 'rosmake'. You should also add your package's dependencies to the manifest.xml file, so 'rosmake' knows what to look for.

Try it, and paste the output here if it still fails.

Hi Miguel,

Thanks for responding. I used rosmake to build the package and then rosdep
install to install the dependencies, but the same error still comes up as
stated before. Maybe I have to update the package? Or does rosmake do that
automatically?
