As a reference, I&#39;ve run the Sick driver with an LMS291 in both 0.5 degree and 1 degree increments, 180 degree total scan @ 500 kBaud with an RS422-USB adapter with no problems. Never tried the smaller increments or scan angle though.<div>

I&#39;ll experiment some more tonight. It was set at .25 deg increments 100deg<br>
scan angle at 500,000bps. the tutorial has a setting of .5 and 180 deg and<br>
38,400bps i&#39;ll try that see if it clears up.<br>
