This is a beta driver that looks like it has some stability issues. I'm going to install the latest beta drivers today and see if I can reproduce it to verify.

The dependencies to rviz / gazebo are there to make sure both of those
are compiled, but there is no real dependency between sr_hand and rviz.
Is there a ROS way of making sure packages are compiled without adding a
real dependency to the package?

If it's just a convenience thing, I'd create another package.
