I removed the old files and their directory (the srv/cpp items) and rebuilt everything and had success! So I think problem solved! Did the location of generated service headers change between box and ctutrtle??

Yes, they moved into the srv_gen directory, though it's supposed to be put first in the include path to prevent this kind of problem. A "make clean" should kill those old headers if you run into this anywhere else.
