I am indeed using the default nouveau driver that comes with Fedora.
So changing to the proprietary Nvidia drivers might fix it? It's not
that urgent as I'm not experiencing any critical problems with it
anyway.
Switching to the nvidia ones will likely fix it. nouveau doesn't really support 3d. From their webpage: "Any 3D functionality that might exist is still unsupported."
