Yes; boost was upgraded since I built ROS on this machine.

After running "rosmake --pre-clean ros", I was able to successfully build the joy package. Thank you for the tip!

It appears that rosbag is looking for the boost libraries version 1.43, although I have 1.45 on my system. I tried reverting back to 1.43, but other packages then emit similar error messages complaining they require version 1.45.

I can't think of anything to do except manually create symlinks in /usr/lib to the 1.45 libraries. Can anyone suggest a fix? Thanks!
