Hi ROS-Users,

I'm running a headless robot and like to use rviz for development...
RVIZ works fine with local X, but when I try to do the same from a
remote X-Server the rviz gui crashes...

/opt/ros/cturtle/ros/bin/rosrun: Zeile 35:  8090 Segmentation fault      (Speicherabzug geschrieben) $exepath "$@"

Any practical ideas, who to use rviz from remote stations ?

Possible workaround: install ROS local and overwrite the environment
ROS_MASTER_URI=http://<remote_ip>:<port>/

Cheers
Christian
