Hi,
I have the same problem, and for the time being, I use an empty "convenient_dependencies" package with those dependencies. You build the package only if you want those, but it works perfectly well if you don't.
Cheers,
Ugo
Hi,
Would it be possible to create optional dependencies for packages? This would
mean that the package would perfectly work without this dependency. But if you
want e.g. the documentation to build also, you need this optional system
dependency too.
This would result in a "suggests" ubuntu package instead of a hard dependency.
