I looked into ros-shadow-fixed and found only ros-groovy-openni-camera available for Quantal. The Quantal packages for ros-groovy-openni-launch and ros-groovy-openni-tracker are missing. It seems they are still failing to build on jenkins http://jenkins.willowgarage.com:8080/job/ros-groovy-openni-launch_binarydeb_quantal_amd64/

For those interested in testing the groovy quantal debs are now in the ros-shadow-fixed repo available for testing. They will be synced into the public repo for the next beta release.

The errors show that ps-engine and openni upstream packages doesn't exist for quantal in our repositores.  This is because we synced these packages from upstream in May when the quantal debs were not yet built upstream.  I'll resync the quantal ones shortly, hopefully this weekend, which will enable the builds to continue. That should give debs sometime next week.

Hi ROS-users,

a new patched version of the OpenNI driver is available:

OpenNI 1.5.4.0
Sensor-primesense 5.1.0.41

Corresponding debs can be found on Jochen Sprickerhof's launchpad:

This update fixes a bug that might occur when operating multiple
devices the same time and also fixes the XnSensorServer crashes under
Ubuntu Precise. Furthermore, we noticed improvements in start-up
speed.

We'll update the official ROS openni-dev debian beginning of next
week. It would be great, if you could give it a try and we are looking
forward to receiving your feedback.
