Hi Simon,

first of all thanks for contributing your driver. I'm currently trying to get less noisy results from my Argos P100, for which I'm using the statistical outlier removal. Are you also facing the problem that this procedure puts a high computational load on the cpu? I can't seem to get more than about 0.2Hz.

What's your overall experience with the Argos P100? I've heard that its main advantages are minimum measurement distance and its aperture angle, but is it possible to retrieve data that matches or surpasses the quality of a Kinect? In the video you provide, are you using an external ToF flash?

kind regards,
Máté

Hi all,

We are happy to announce the argos3d-p100 ros package:

https://github.com/voxel-dot-at/argos3d_p100_ros_pkg

This package provides support for the  Bluetechnix Argos3D P100 ToF camera
based on the PMDSKD library that is provided with the camera, along with
a detailed installation how-to and a visualization example based on rviz.

Any comment/suggestions are welcome
