Sorry I spoke too quickly.  The sync to packages.ros.org is blocked because of some packages rebuilding for groovy.

When those packages finish shadow-fixed will be synced from repos.ros.org/repos to packages.ros.org.  We don't allow syncing while jobs are active to avoid db corruption.

Hi Jose,

I have updated, sdformat, and gazebo from the osrf repos.  They are in
the shadow and shadow-fixed repos and will appear in public after the
next sync.

Thanks very much Tully. I was giving it a look. Some problems:

1. 404 in the ros-shadow repository[1]

It's called building now, and is not available on packages.ros.org, only repos.ros.org for internal use only

2. In ros-shadow-fixed, I still seeing the sdformat packages[2] in version 1.4.7.

Am I looking in the wrong places? Did I miss something else?

    Hi Jose,

To get the newer versions I need to login to the repository and
import the new version.  I have several new packages to pull in
including saucy and trusty packages. I will try to run these imports

+1 from me as well, I've tested this new deb against our

            Dear ROS maintainers:

We had some reports[1] of bugs produced by the URDF symbols
            exposed by
sdformat package (it hosts an embedded copy of urdf) when
            used in
            combination with ROS urdf package.

A proper fix[2] will break sdformat ABI compatibility but I
            was able to
hack on a solution[3] that could potentially work for most
            of the
situations and seems to respect the current ROS sdformat ABI[4],
            released in sdformat 1.4.11 version.

I was able to install this new version and start
            turtlebot_simulator and
husky_simulator without any problem in precise/hydro.

What would we need to get the current ROS version of
            sdformat (1.4.7)
updated to the last 1.4.11 version?

            Thanks.
