Hi Jack,

We've been testing building from source on Saucy already. All the tools necessary are already available in Saucy.

I am trying to build things from source on Saucy. But, to even get started, I need a bunch of ros-infrastructure scripts.

I realize no ROS distro supports Saucy, but these scripts are supposed to be ROS-distro-independent and Saucy has been out for a while now.

I could not figure out where to open an issue for this, so I thought I'd ask here.

Is there a plan for releasing at least the minimum set for source builds? The wiki[1] recommends these, but I suppose some others are also needed for actual development:

 $ sudo apt-get install python-rosdep python-rosinstall-generator python-wstool build-essential
