If we are thinking about retiring the turtle themed naming, why not send it out by giving it the acknowledgement it deserves. Legendary Logo The shirt/logo could be the turtle spelling out Legendary, maybe throw in a period drawn out by the classic: repeat 100 [fd 100 rt 100] (try it for yourself: https://turtleacademy.com/learn.php) As for an alternative naming in the future, I'm partial to space (Martian, Neptune, Orion...) as it recognizes the expanding ROS universe. -Chris On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 3:21 PM, Allison Thackston via ros-users < ros-users@lists.ros.org> wrote: > I'm partial to the "lucky" adjective. > > Maybe "Lucky Loggerhead" or "Lucky Logo" ? > > > On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 11:09 AM David Lu!! via ros-users < > ros-users@lists.ros.org> wrote: > >> There are more Google image results for "Virtruvian Turtle" than I >> expected. >> >> On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 1:27 PM, Morgan Quigley via ros-users < >> ros-users@lists.ros.org> wrote: >> >>> "Logo Loggerhead" >>> >>> +9 bonus points for anyone who writes a LOGO client for ROS >>> +42 if it runs on Apple ][ 😆 >>> >>> On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 10:18 AM, Jackie Kay via ros-users < >>> ros-users@lists.ros.org> wrote: >>> >>>> "Leonine Loggerhead"? >>>> >>>> On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 10:17 AM, Devon Ash via ros-users < >>>> ros-users@lists.ros.org> wrote: >>>> >>>>> Great, lion project shut down before it started. >>>>> >>>>> On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 12:58 PM, David Lu!! >>>>> wrote: >>>>> >>>>>> However, there is something to be said for consistency and uniqueness >>>>>> (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X_Lion) >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> On Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 12:56 PM, Devon Ash via ros-users < >>>>>> ros-users@lists.ros.org> wrote: >>>>>> >>>>>>> To spice things up, I'm still going to propose Leonardo Lion with >>>>>>> these four points to counter the four points above: >>>>>>> >>>>>>> 1.
