We don't have the ability to blacklist specific ubuntu distros for specific packages.

The ability exists in the spec to blacklist: http://www.ros.org/reps/rep-0137.html#release-build-file however you would have to create separate release build files for each platform to blacklist individually. And that part of the REP is not yet implemented.

In general we do not want divergent behavior between rosdistros on different Ubuntu distros so supporting this is a low priority.

Hey folks,

ros-hydro-bwi-desktop is not building on Raring because upstream
package ros-hydro-bwi-desktop-full is broken (dependency on
ros-hydro-openni-tracker that is not satisfied on Raring).

Why would this cause ros-hydro-bwi-desktop to not build? We'll be
removing this dependency shortly, but I wasn't sure if this was a
Jenkins bug.

Since nobody needs to use this metapackage on Raring, is there a way to limit building it on Hydro to only Precise?
