We're in the process of consolidating our ROS communications onto http://discourse.ros.org. We've now switched over the ros-release mailing list to a discourse category at: http://discourse.ros.org/c/release

If you are a maintainer please create an account on http://discourse.ros.org and watch the Release category as well as any of the subcategories for specific rosdistros in which you are active. Currently Indigo, Jade, and Kinetic are present. Once we start the Lunar process we'll create a new subcategory for that as well.

By default discourse.ros.org will act like a mailing list sending you all messages. If you go into your preferences you can change that and set specific categories of interest and only get emails about them.
