The easiest reasoning is, "have I released my stack since I downloaded
rosdep 2"? If no, probably should re-release.
Thus far I have only pulled freiburg_tools and vision_visp. I have
tried to be conservative and only pull if the stack causes pre-release
issues with other stacks (yes, the pre-release could be more
resilient). The list might grow, though the freeze has past and the
tide of releases has slowed.
If you visit:
http://www.ros.org/debbuild/fuerte.html
and it is grey when you expect it to be white, then you are probably
on the list.
Regardless, as a stack maintainer, it is good to get familiar with the
changes introduced by rosdep 2. It is a fairly big transition, but it
has made servicing updates to the db much faster and also pointed out
some consistency issues that are more easily resolved.
cheers,
Ken
