We are happy to announce a ROS stack enabling a powerful ROS interface
to the V-REP robot simulator <
http://www.coppeliarobotics.com>. The
stack is located here <

The stack allows building a plugin which offers more than 100 services,
more than 30 publisher types and more than 25 subscriber types, thus
enabling fast and elaborate data transfer or function calls to/from
V-REP. The plugin can easily be extended with custom services /
publisher types / subscriber types.

V-REP is the Swiss army knife among robot simulators: hundreds of
features and functions, and a very elaborate API. Students may use V-REP
with full functionality for free.
