The version of log4cxx in the FreeBSD Ports is now up-to-date. This means that
the next version of FreeBSD (7.4 / 8.1 / 9.0) will have the correct
prebuilt version
available, for the current version you can install it from source
using the FreeBSD
Ports framework.
