[ros-users] problem with roscore

when I write roscore in my terminal, I get this output

/home/shamma/.ros/log/b12e91de-a54c-11df-b13f-000c295c3e27/roslaunch-ubuntu-4578.log

starting new master (master configured for auto start)

process[rosout-1]: started with pid [4606]
started core service [/rosout]

and then it just keep running without giving me anything, I waited for a
long time and nothing occur. Any idea what might be the cause of the problem
?
