[ros-users] Failed to contact the master at robot_name: 11311

I list the problem bellow:
$roscore
... logging to
/home/tangm/.ros/log/90bc3982-883d-11df-875d-6cf049b6f021/roslaunch-tangm-desktop-18756.log

started roslaunch server http://tangm-desktop:32891/

SUMMARY

changing ROS_MASTER_URI to [http://tangm-desktop:11311/] for starting master
locally
starting new master (master configured for auto start)

ROS_MASTER_URI=http://tangm-desktop:11311/

setting /run_id to 90bc3982-883d-11df-875d-6cf049b6f021
process[rosout-1]: started with pid [18780]
started core service [/rosout]
$ rosrun beginner_tutorials talker 
[ERROR] 1278338995.341081000: [registerPublisher] Failed to contact master
at [robot_name:11311].  Retrying...
The command roscore seems right. But the command "rosrun beginner_tutorials
talker" can't contact the master. 
I don't the reason. Thank you for your help.
