[ros-users] RVIZ error

Hi Brian,

I installed ROS/ubuntu 9.04 on other computer which has graphics card : "VGA
compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro FX 570M".

Still rviz is not working. I am getting the same error.
vros at Kamal-laptop:~$ rosrun rviz rviz
[ INFO] 1279935079.203935000: Loading general config from
[/home/vros/.rviz/config]
[ INFO] 1279935079.204084000: Loading display config from
[/home/vros/.rviz/display_config]
rviz: OgreGLSupport.cpp:57: virtual void
Ogre::GLSupport::initialiseExtensions(): Assertion `pcVer && "Problems
getting GL version string using glGetString"' failed.
/opt/ros/boxturtle/ros/bin/rosrun: line 35: 25237 Aborted
$exepath "$@"

For the last line error, I tried $ rosmake --preclean-rviz ; as I noticed
this here https://code.ros.org/discuss/ros-users/browse_frm/thread/908/3292but
still getting the same.

Need urgent help on this as visualization is important for us.
