in case you want to try to create a Player driver, just have a look at the page
http://www.control.aau.dk/~tb/wiki/index.php/Developing_a_plug-in_driver_for_Player#Main.28.29

it can serve you as starting point. Also follow the Robotino link
(down the page) and inspect its code.
