[ros-users] No Display in Rviz

I had the same problem with Jaunty (9.04). After upgrading to 9.10 everything worked fine displaying laser data in rviz.

Jaunty (9.04) has fairly broken Intel graphics drivers.  I would recommend upgrading to 9.10 (Karmic).
